Green Drinks for St. Patrick’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day is almost here so we’ve put together some simple, creamy cocktail recipes with a festive touch and spirits made right here in Auburn, Washington!
The Shamrock Shaker
The first cocktail you can try is the Shamrock Shaker! Add 1 1/2 ounces of Blackfish Chocolate Liqueur, 1/2 ounce of Amaretto, 2 1/2 ounces of milk, and ice to a cocktail shaker. The Chocolate Cream Dream
The other cocktail we have for you is similar to the first but a lot more chocolatey! Add 2 ounces of Blackfish Chocolate Liqueur, 1 ounce heavy whipping cream, 1 ounce milk, 2 tbsp powdered white chocolate, and ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with mint or the whipped topping below!
Make a Minty Whipped Cream Topping
If you want green drinks for St. Patrick’s Day, you can simply add green food coloring, or you can whip up a delicious green crème de menthe topping! The ingredients are simple: 2 ounces of crème de menthe, 1 cup of heavy whipping cream, and 2 tbsp powdered sugar.
We definitely recommend a whipped cream dispenser or an electric mixer. If you don’t have one of these, grab a big mixing bowl and a big whisk and start whipping! You’ll end up with an emerald green topping that’s great on cocktails or desserts!
