A White Russian with a Twist
Our take on a White Russian is called the Iceberg (named after the famous albino orca seen cruising the Russian seas.) We use Blackfish Coffee Liqueur, Blackfish Vodka, and add some cinnamon simple syrup to give it some extra kick.
What you’ll need
For this recipe you’ll need 2 ounces of Blackfish Vodka, 2 ounces of Blackfish Coffee Liqueur, some half and half, and 2 ounces of cinnamon flavored simple syrup. If you want to make your own simple syrup, we’ll tell you how using 3 cups of water, 3 cups of sugar, 2 cinnamon sticks.
Prepare a Cinnamon Simple Syrup
Heat the water, sugar and cinnamon sticks together in a pot over medium high heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. You can remove it from heat or let it simmer for a while for even more cinnamon flavor. Let it cool for a few minutes when it’s done.
Mix the Ingredients
Put 2 ounces of Blackfish Vodka, 2 ounces of Blackfish Coffee Liqueur, and 2 ounces of cinnamon simple syrup in a shaker with ice and add a splash of half and half. Add more half and half if you like it creamier, or less if you prefer a lighter drink. Shake together, then strain into a glass and enjoy!
